Purpose of Executive Development
The purpose of executive development is threefold:
  1. Effective growth in individual skills and performance.
  2. Greater contribution to company success.
  3. Increased personal satisfaction from life and work.
Based on an extensive career in senior executive positions, Rollie MacInnis brings a practicing executive's outlook to the development process. The unique model he has developed is designed to improve leadership through a thoughtful examination of the executive's agenda and relationships network.

The model is focused on "real work" and the issues that arise from the exercise of leadership in the context of specific duties and responsibilities. We discuss what you're doing and with whom, and help you to analyse your agenda and network to discover strategies to achieve peak performance as a leader and manager.

You can gain new insights into leadership and management in the context of current work. Occasionally we will use well-defined models to enable an improved understanding of the management process. While familiar with "behavioural" theories and models, we use them only to the extent that they fit the context of the position and the situation.

Throughout the process the onus is placed on the client to take responsibility for his/her development. A principle in leadership development (coaching) is that "all development is self development". This means that the successful client understands the benefits of development and accepts the need to improve leadership behaviour in a conscious and purposive manner.
